You know you’re getting it right when 96% of the girls tell you they are happy – which is why we at Girls Out Loud are feeling the need to SHOUT OUT LOUD! Everyone will be delighted to know that our last Discovery Day, with 84 girls in year 9 of Oldham’s Oasis Academy, was a great success. The feedback forms at the end of the session positively glowed with enthusiasm and the girls were left wanting more.
“Amazing, fun and great” said one “it was awesome” said another and “the discovery stars are brilliant and very friendly” said another: these were just a few of the endorsements they wrote down. Overwhelmingly they saw the benefit of the process and joined wholeheartedly in the action. They got the message, they were up for the challenge – and they loved the part where they created their own magazine.
Discovery Days are all about awakening and we are left in no doubt that a multitude of potential little stars started to shine brightly on that day.
