Finally the 2023 Award season has come to a close and we can all put away our glitter and sparkle until our Shining Stars ball at the Hilton on 19 April 24 – we can’t wait!

This year we applied for over 10 Awards, were shortlisted for 8 and won three, but the 3 we won were epic.

Our Founder Jane beat serious competition to take home the Pour Moi Inspiring Woman Award presented by Vanessa Feltz in London in April then last week she won the inaugural Emmeline Pankhurst Award for services to gender equality at I Love Manchester event, the biggest Award celebration in the city and the following day brought home the Forward Ladies National Award for social impact showcasing the work of Girls Out Loud.

We are fortunate to have such a passionate and on purpose CEO and Founder and we are all delighted her credibility and expertise in this niche is being celebrated.

Jane has worked exclusively with women and girls for over 3 decades so to be recognised by her peers and the sector for this and fly the flag for our cause is awesome!

Jane says ‘ I know the taking part is what Awards are about but, sometimes, just sometimes, it is a huge privilege and joy to win too and have a moment to reflect on the journey and celebrate your achievements, both personally and as a collective. I know as women we are team centred and always credit everyone with our personal success, however, it is you that showed up, grabbed the mantle and made a difference so I also feel we do not pat ourselves on the back enough.

Let’s do more of that in 2024 eh? When one of us wins, we all win. Women empower women!’
