Shining Stars Awards 2019

Do you know a woman who deserves an award for being a Shining Star?

The impact of a role model can never be under estimated. Role models inspire us, help us to be driven, to focus, to achieve goals and strive to be the best that we can be. They show us the way.

If you cannot see it, you cannot become it and with this in mind we are looking to recognise and celebrate the region’s top female role models at The Shining Stars Ball on 2 October 2019 at the Hilton, Manchester.  One woman will walk away with an award but the short listed Power 10 will all be recognised in some way on the night so please get nominating!

Does someone stand out to you as having a positive and demonstrable impact on girls and young women and on society as a whole? Does this woman set a good example and is she someone who believes in herself and displays strength and resilience?

The Top Female Role Model Award recognises an exceptional woman for her achievements, personal attributes and commitment to support and encourage young women.

This woman provides inspiration and demonstrates what women can achieve when there are opportunities and guidance to make positive life choices.  Through her example she helps others improve confidence, self-esteem, self-respect and emotional resilience.

She is likely to be a shining star in her sector, an entrepreneur, professional and/or influencer and known for her passion to pay it forward.
