We will explore the world view, what our teens are already addicted to and outline the core elements of immersive AI including the Metaverse, AI chatbot apps, interactive gaming technology and importantly how AI has enabled open season on women and girls via deep fakes, revenge porn and image-based sexual abuse.
This technology is way more than a homework cheat and we need to first understand it, then implement some strategies to minimise the risks.

She founded Girls Out loud in 2009 driven by a passion to empower and inspire teenage girls to find their voice, their self-belief and their gumption.

With over 2 decades experience in training, development and coaching Heidi is a qualified Master NLP practitioner and coach. With a background in performing arts her coaching work blends mindset and movement to support women and girls to break limiting beliefs and step into their full power on and off stage.
As lead coach for Girls Out Loud, working with teenage girls and their mentors daily, and seeing first-hand how AI is impacting all our lives, Heidi was delighted to co create this powerful AI overview, which will help parents and carers navigate this new territory at home and take a snippet of the inspiring work Girls Out Loud does within schools, out of the classroom!
